The question has been raised whether the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS) is an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) recognized board. While there is currently no ABMS certification specific to hair restoration, the ABHRS is the only certification recognized by the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS -the largest hair restoration educational organization in the world).
For more information on the ISHRS visit their website at www.ISHRS.com.
